All year I've been wanting to talk about the nude color things that I own and love.  Let's start with nail polish.  Actually wait—lets start with acknowledging this photo, lol.  I have the SMALLEST hands known to man.  Getting five of my favorite things into one of them is a win for me, okay?? hahaha

Almost a decade ago I stopped going to nail shops religiously.  Partially to save money, partially to support friends of mine (and they're much more costly so I save up to hit them from time-to-time), mostly because I enjoy painting my own nails. 

 These joints are my default and I love the way they balance with my brown skin. This will be in order of preference...

 1. Diana Boss (PearNova.com, $11.50), Who'd of thunk that a small, thriving, online business would be the one to hit the nail on the head for me?  I love the opacity and how it builds so well as you layer.  Has lasting power, too. *heart eyes*

2. Lady Like (Essie, $9.00), This is actually a soft muave color and I just feel like on my skin tone it's just great for something more nude looking and classic.

3. Ghost Edit (Smith & Cult,  $18.00), Smith & Cult is hands down my favorite brand across the board and is most of my polish collection.  The color stay, ease of application, *drool*.  Honestly this is incredibly close to Diana Boss and to me is a bit more sheer.  This is my clear polish.  I like how it just blurs out the nail bed so I can feel put together and have my nails secure cause I work so much with my hands.

4. Mink Muffs (Essie, $9.00), Taupe is so good for me.  The brown is creamy and really just has my hands looking so hand modelesque, lol.  When I do go to the salon for my cuticles to get some love it's always easy to find pretty much anywhere.

 5. Michelle Our Mama (PearNova.com, $11.50), Did I mention Pear Nova is vegan, 5-free, and cruelty free?  M.O.M. is similar to DB & Ghost Edit, it's so close to Mink Muffs but waaay creamier and a shade or two lighter and warmer.  I also love Michelle Obama and it makes me think of her every time I pick it up. I do this with just one layer sometimes but two makes it look profesh.
