May not look like much, or even a little gross, but this BLT from Old Oak Tap here in Chicago is the best I've ever had!

ON IT: applewood smoked bacon, Fried green tomato, arugula, pimento cheese

WHAAAAAT?

And the champagne cocktail was pretty nice, too!

My BF and I both had a Sunday off and when a brunch spot that I wanted to try was closed for renovations, we Googled "brunch" and this popped up. I don't think I've made such a good mistake in a while!

The best part was that the music was so great. They must have had an internet radio player set to 90s R&B because they were playing every single one of the jams. Between cheering on football teams, munching on this yummy meal and shazamming every other song trying to guess the song maker and title before the chorus dropped, we had such a wonderful amount of quality time that we both really needed.

I'm taking all of my friends here when I'm craving a hearty/heavy meal and have no where to go.
