April Favorites

April was a big month for me mostly because I turned 30 and also got a promotion.  It was so fun and I also got to visit my big sister in L.A. for a few days.  Here are a few things that I picked up along the way:

 1. lululemon Go Lightly Backpack Mini 12L -- trendy and functional.  I feel so hip.

2.  Deva Curl, No-Poo Decadence -- I'm working on finding the perfect product to cleanse and style my, now, short hair.  I like how clean it gets and that it keeps so much moisture in my follicles.

 3.  Essie Nail Color, Eternal Optimist -- I literally got compliments on this color all week and by so many random ppl.

4.  Kandee Johnson for Sinful Colors in Pink Velvet -- Dude.  This is a "sugar finish" so this leaves a coarse texture on your nails.  It also dries matte if you want to forgo the top coat.  It's so fun.

5.  Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray -- I always buy travel size in setting sprays and primers because I don't need that much.  I also wanted to save $$ in case I didn't actually like the formula.  I am still curious about the Chill setting sprays cause I already have dry skin.

 6. Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum -- I got the sample since the cost is so high.  I love what's been happening to my skin since.  I feel bright and glowy.  Once I get done with this, unless I find an affordable and comparable product, I'll be purchasing and adding to my beauty drawer.

7.  Milani Amore Matte Metallic Lip Créme in Making Me Matte -- this shit is just SOOO boss. Stays well. Beautiful shine. But make sure you shake well before use. I destroyed my favorite new joggers tilting it all around and spilled the separated oil and pigment. Still mad..but not enough to throw it away.  I've had this for a few months and wore it sparingly until recently.  Suddenly it's my go to for my nighttime events. *high fives self*

 8. Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm -- Game changer.  It's an $18 balm that is worth every penny.  It's so thorough and lasts a while. Get into it!

9. Mac Cosmetics Eyeshadow in Brown Script -- I'd had this color on my mind for a few months and since purchasing it's been in almost every day and night look I've created.  I love it on my skin tone.  Not mad at all. (I also love this little pallette I've created.  Nothing works for me universally so I feel like I save $$ because I truly use all three regularly.  I am deciding if I can/need to expand to a larger case.)

10. areaware Contour Key Ring -- Guys. I had been dreaming of a key ring like this one. No lie. While I was in L.A., my sister and I wandered a mall before out pilates class and when I saw this in a shop, I grabbed it and swiped IMMEJETLY.!  My friends say it gives custodian vibes and that's almost exactly what I was going for!

I shop but not usually this much so April proved very productive.
