As I went to grab the products to shoot I realized that I did a shitty job at closing the cleanser and SO MUCH leaked out into my makeup drawer!  For a second I thought the packaging was faulty but, after letting it sit, I realized it was me. (Just gonna own the mistake versus take it back in exchange for a new one.)

Anywho.. I went and grabbed all these after using travel and sample sizes for the past 4-8 weeks.  I grabbed the Biossance in October and used the $25 VIB Rouge gift from Sephora this weekend to grab the full-sized Drunk Elephant moisturizer and cleanser because it worked so well throughout the month.

1. Biossance Squalene + Vitamin C Rose Oil: Apparently Squalene is stupidly hydrating for the skin and I decided to spring for the one mixed with Vitamin C and Rose Oil cause I liked getting the vitamin C from the C-Firma Serum (Drunk Elephant) over the summer and I was reading that rose oil hydrates, soothes the skin, and helps to prime the skin for other products and makeup.

2. Drunk Elephant Besteā„¢ Jelly Cleanser: I got this in a set with the moisturizer and it did such a great job getting most of my make-up off at night and I follow up with Caudelíe's micellar water and I'm all good.

3.  Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream: I'm winterizing my skin routine and Gothamista did a series of reviews on Drunk Elephant so I bought the mini to try after her referral.  I love how my face feels hydrated ALL day and it's doing a great job at keeping me looking moisturized.  So moisturized in fact that that this + the Biossance + my eye cream is all I'm doing for the day (and I fill my eyebrows and throw on some mascara).  I also love the packaging.  It squeezes from the top.  So hygienic!

NOTE:   Gothamista is amazing.  No fluff/hype.  Lots of science, and passion. Check her out on YouTube! (IDK why I trust her so much.  I think it's her glow and her cheekbones.)

I will probably be done with faves for a minute because I've been wanting to buy some stuff that I sampled that's a pretty penny and I still have a budget to stick to in real life so I won't force it for the sake of the posts.

HAIR UPDATE: I posted about going on a hair journey back in the summertime and I'm really narrowing things down and trying some fun products. My hair is growing like a weed and I've really mastered my routine.  I'm so excited to share it but want to space beauty talk out with a few thoughts and notes on other topics I've been rolling around my mind for a while.

Til then!
